Healing is not linear — and how to make it work for you

have you tried Kintsugi ? it’s awesome.

Healing isn’t linear.

It’s messy, circular, and often feels like two steps forward, one step back. But here’s the thing: healing isn’t just about fixing the wounds. It’s about uncovering something deeper — a truer version of ourselves that may have been hidden beneath the scars.

For those over 30, the journey often takes on a new meaning. Responsibilities multiply. Time feels scarce. And yet, something within us whispers that it’s time to dig deeper. Healing isn’t about perfection; it’s about peeling back the layers and unlearning what no longer serves us.

So, where do we even begin?

First : why healing changes after 30

“Wait, wasn’t this supposed to get easier?”

Here’s the paradox: the older we get, the more wisdom we gain, but the harder it feels to change. You’d think decades of experience would make the process smoother. Instead, it often feels like untangling a lifetime’s worth of knots.

Maybe you’ve caught yourself thinking, Why am I still dealing with this? The comparison game starts up: “Shouldn’t I be further along by now? Look at so-and-so — they seem to have it all figured out.”
